TTI Expands Wireless Offering and Supports Demonstration of Sensata Technologies’ Wireless Pressure Transmitter at this Year’s SPS

Sensata's IWPT Wireless Pressure Transmitter is a cost-effective replacement to a traditionally wired pressure transducer that offers the advantages of a low-cost installation in inaccessible and expensive installation environments.

TTI, Inc., a leading specialty distributor of electronic components, will support Sensata Technologies’ IWPT industrial wireless pressure transmitter at this year’s SPS in Hall 4A, Stand #201. The IWPT is an essential part of a wireless system that aids in the 24/7 monitoring of factory assets. It provides a cost-effective alternative to a traditionally wired pressure transducer and offers the advantages of a low-cost installation in inaccessible and expensive installation environments.

Sensata’s proprietary wireless communications protocol operates in the 2.4GHz ISM band, enabling the IWPT to provide clear, reliable data transmission even with line-of-sight obstructions. Its small size fits in the palm of your hand and easily mounts to a wall, machine or other implements. The industrial wireless pressure transmitter features out-of-the-box configurations while still allowing flexibility to program-specific requirements. Powered by a Li-ion battery, the low maintenance IWPT can last for between 5-25 years in the field, depending on the update rate configuration.
